Tell us a memory of when you first joined Equilibrium.
All the men in the office had to wear a tie when I first started, so I bought a batch of snazzy new ties. The next week it was agreed that we no longer had to wear them.
What has been the biggest change since you joined?
The change from paper files to electronic files. The old files took up half the space in the office and everything had to be photocopied and added to the file. Each year the files would be taken away to storage, so if you needed something from last year’s file you had to call up the company to bring the file back.
What do you think has been your greatest success?
I celebrated my 10 year anniversary of working at Equilibrium last month and I’m proud of establishing and maintaining client relationships over the long term.
What has been your biggest personal challenge?
Adapting to change as the business has grown and developed over the years.
Your best memory from your time at EQ.
The annual briefings are always good fun, especially the 1st one which was a complete surprise to the majority of staff.
What do you hope to achieve in the coming year?
I want to continue to build strong relationships with our clients. I’m also really looking forward to our 21st birthday celebration with clients at Tatton Park in November this year and want to help with raising funds towards The Foundation’s target of fundraising £21,000 for charity this year.
